The Year 9  and 10 BTEC Sport groups were invited to attend a session on wheelchair basketball led by Nova Sports and Coaching.  The session was a brilliant introduction to this excellent sport and the students thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They picked up the skills quickly and took to the game with great enthusiasm.  

29th September 2022

Pupils from Appleford visited Swindon Town FC for a training session and tour of the stadium. The coaches at Swindon were impressed not only with the boys’ effort and ability, but also commented on how polite, friendly and respectful they were.

26th July 2022

5th July was a beautiful sunny day with an array of alternative and traditional events.  Alternative events included basketball, volleyball, run relays, rounders, benchball and a scavenger hunt. The long jump, discus, shotput, javelin, high jump and track events were among the traditional events.
