Appleford School is very fortunate to have the support of an active and hard working Parents Association who work to enrich the resources of the school.
For many years, The Friends of Appleford have raised substantial sums of money to both augment the school’s facilities, help fundraise for charities and provide the ‘hands on’ support at our many special events and functions.
The FoA committee meet regularly at the school and are always looking for new recruits. Appleford very much supports and encourages this important link between school and home.
Below is a small sample of the events organised by the FoA and a list of their contributions to school life.
Old Applefordians’ Day
Sponsored Obstacle Race
BBQ for all students and parents
Fund raised for our Climbing Wall
Running a ‘pre-loved’ school uniform shop
Regular cake sales and refreshments at school events
Organised the end of term Disco
