Trip to ‘We The Curious’ Science Exhibit, Bristol

Pupils in Year 11 studying for their Double Award Science visited the ‘We The Curious’ interactive science exhibit in Bristol.

The pupils had the chance to explore all the exhibits where everything was hands on, they used their own energy to get different brains of different ages to work, took pictures of their shadows and explored how light reflects and refracts to trick the mind.

They were also able to go to the planetarium and watch a 3D show on our solar system and the idea of finding life in other planets.

It was a great way of visualising all aspects of science in readiness for the GCSEs.

Mrs McCleery, Science Teacher, said it was a great day and the pupils’ behaviour was impeccable.
