Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

To work within a well-developed and motivated team
Term-time only with experience-based salary
Starting September 2020   Part-time 3-4 days 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly individual to join our small but expanding team at Appleford School.

You will need:

  • A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification (Degree/Diploma).
  • HCPC registration.
  • Post Graduate experience in Sensory Integration.
  • Minimum of at least 2 years paediatric OT experience.
  • Experience in carrying out clinical assessment, planning and implementing a programme of intervention, note and report writing.
  • A flexible and independent approach.

You will be working with a specialist caseload of pupils who have specific learning difficulties including: dyslexia, autism, language disorders and social communication difficulties.  You will work closely with onsite Speech and Language Therapists, the pastoral team and academic and Boarding Staff to ensure occupational therapy targets are incorporated into the educational setting.

Learning Support Assistant

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.50am – 4.50pm and Friday 8.50am – 3pm (term-time only)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly individual to join our small but expanding team at Appleford School.

Due to increasing numbers, we are looking for enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work in the lower school from September 2020. Candidates must have GCSE or equivalent A-C Grade in English and Maths, be prepared to undertake training and have a desire to work with children / young people.

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, a confident manner and flexible approach to work.
