Appleford School is a specialist day and boarding school for pupils aged 7-18 with dyslexia and associated learning difficulties, set in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside in the village of Shrewton, just off the A303. Our ethos is to build children’s confidence through continuous support and celebration of success. Rated ‘Excellent’ by ISI in all categories, the school has been providing the highest quality teaching for pupils with dyslexia for 30 years.
We are looking for readers, scribes and invigilators to support our current Year 11 and some Lower Sixth students in their GCSE exams.
You may be asked to work with candidates as part of a team or as a personal Reader/Scribe. Full training will be given.
Successful candidates will have excellent communications skills, a confident manner and flexible approach to working hours.
Exam period dates:
7th, 11th and 14th to 25th January
4th to 8th March
1st May to 26th June (exact dates tbc)
