24/02/12 – New headmaster at Appleford

APPLEFORD School in Shrewton has a new headmaster.

David King joins the school, which caters for children with dyslexia, with 17 years of experience in the primary school sector, followed by work in the business sector before returning to education as headmaster of two independent special senior schools.

He has also worked with a consortium of businessmen and educationalist to establish a network of residential schools around the UK.Headmaster.JPG

He said: “I intend to continue to raise the standards of achievements in Appleford’s pupils by both increasing their opportunities for success academic and extra-curricular settings. I am also very happy and honoured to be appointed as Appleford’s headmaster and am looking forward to the school’s future success.”
